Damiano Maiolini

Biography

Damiano Maiolini unites musical passion, talent and a captivating stage presence to fascinate his audience. As a singer-songwriter, he combines his father's Italian joie de vivre with his love for music in German and has successfully established himself since 2019 in the schlager and pop music scene. His unmistakable voice and keen sense of emotion brought him to regional stages early on.

After Dieter Bohlen described his voice as ‘unique’, Damiano appeared on ‘The Voice of Germany’, where he reached the quarter-finals in the sing-offs. Since 2019, he has been on stage across Germany alongside stars such as Loona, Michelle and Norman Langen and is continuously working on his own songs. He made his schlager debut in 2022 with the single ‘Solo Tu’, which immediately reached the iTunes charts and was honoured as ‘Hit of the Month’ at ‘Schlager des Monats’ with Bernhard Brink (MDR). He also won the biggest international German-language schlager competition ‘Die Stauferkone’.

Damiano's success led him to renowned talk shows in 2024 and he became part of Andy Borg's ‘Schlager Spaß Familie’. His single ‘Gehört sie jetzt Dir’ reached the third place of the ‘Deine Schlagerwelt-Parade’ and remained for weeks in the airplay charts. He was recently hired as an expert judge for the TEAMFIGHTS on ‘The Voice of Germany’, where he decides which talents make it through to the semi-finals.

Damiano is also active in social projects with values such as inclusion, tolerance and diversity.
