Biography

Stairway To Violet is the cinematic rock band of actor and musician Béla Klentze. At the age of nine, the charismatic artist noticed his love for acting and became the face of the German Disney Channel. A few years later, he starred in the telenovela "Unter uns" and increased his fame, in addition to other appearances in both TV and film, with a role in the main cast of the series "Alles was zählt" for several years.

The Munich native, who lives in Cologne, also gained experience as a dancer in 2020 alongside professional dancer Oana Nechiti as part of the RTL dance show "Let's Dance". An encounter of music and passion that turned the idea of his own band into reality:

During the melancholy of the first months of the pandemic, Béla Klentze wrote and composed numerous songs full of heart and soul, in which he processed deep thoughts and personal experiences (for example, "Loneliness of Fame"). Shortly thereafter, the 35-year-old All-rounder formed the band Stairway To Violet together with professional musicians, with whom he has already released several singles with the help of a creative team of producers.

With their orchestral sound combined with epic film music, the rock band is not only musically convincing, but also captivates with spectacular images and messages shown in their music videos. The video for "My Real Light" achieved high media presence because the fascinating footage of Béla Klentze singing with wolves in the breathtaking ice landscape of Greenland.

However, Stairway To Violet is anything but just a studio band - the musicians feel particularly comfortable on the big stage. Due to their dark look with makeup and industrial elements as well as their incomparable songs, the band has already been able to inspire numerous visitors of large concert events and gain new fans.
